Notes:
As a result of the disruption to supply lines during World War I, the Calcutta branch of the Royal Mint was called upon to strike Australian pennies in 1916, 1917 and 1918 on dies supplied by the London Mint. These coins bear an 'I' mint mark on the reverse. The Melbourne Mint collection has no record of a proof of this date.
