Notes:
The intention of the star '*' mint mark was to signify the proposed debasement of the silver content from .925 silver to .500 silver caused by a spike in the price of silver. The silver price collapsed and the debasement was deferred until 1946. Proofs of this date were struck at Melbourne Mint on dies supplied by London Mint.
